Organic for almost 60 years

Alzbeta Husarovič

Our founder formed the first local partnership in 1974 with our organic black radish farmer... many years before the general consensus on the benefits of organic farming. In 1986, more partnerships were formed with other local gardeners, who we selected because at that time they did not use any pesticides or other sprays and unnatural elements. It took until 1992 for them to be published European regulations for the organic sector. Thanks to this, we were able to obtain official certification for our organic food supplements .

Exclusively owned by the French Ministry of Agriculture, the AB certification guarantees:

  • Product made from at least 95% of the ingredients come from organic farms that use agronomic and breeding practices that respect the natural balance of the environment and animal welfare, and that restrict use of chemical products and synthetic pesticides.
  • Respect for current French regulations.

Certification under the supervision of a government-controlled body that applies the criteria of the European standard EN 45011: independence, impartiality, competence and effectiveness
The European logo for organic products also ensures:

  • At least 95% organic ingredients
  • Compliance with official regulations for inspection and certification
Information on the name of the manufacturer, processor and distributor, name or code certification body , origin of organic ingredients used (European/non-European agriculture)
  • Commitment to the environment

Our commitment to the environment encompasses both social and environmental issues: long-term partnerships with our organic plant growers , recyclable packaging for our nutritional supplements, and increasing green operations across the company with plans to recycle harvests and sponsor beehives with our regional partner Beecity.

Planète Superdiet

At Superdiet, sustainable development is central to all our activities. In line with our values, our employees have created a group project called “Planète Superdiet”. Our initiative to monitor measures across the company on social, economic and environmental issues:

  • Recycling collection campaigns for associations: capsules, phones, glasses, light bulbs and stationery.
  • Initiate measures to reduce our energy consumption and facilitate mobility for our employees.
  • Increasingly organic

At preparing our annual company meals we choose certified organic produce – locally sourced whenever possible, like strawberries from Beuvry-La-Forêt. We have organic fruit and vegetable boxes supplied by local gardeners from Le Panier Naturel. And we enjoy delicious honey thanks to Beecity and our project - hive.

We participate in bee protection:

"Man would only survive four years if bees disappeared from the planet."

Albert Einstein.

The bee population has already has been declining for several years, in some areas it has completely disappeared. Studies show that there are several reasons This gradual disappearance includes pesticides, parasite infections, disease, pollution, less food (due to a reduction in the diversity of flowers providing nectar and pollen), habitats and new predators.

Pollination is essential!

Bees collect flower nectar as food for stockpiling. When harvesting, they get caught on their feet pollen balls. They unknowingly leave pollen on other flowers as they pass by: you may know this as pollination. Fruit grows as a result of fertilization process. Many plants rely on insects. Bees pollinate more than 200,000 species. According to the National Institute for Agricultural Research in France, pollination affects the quantity and variety of our food. Everything is closely linked: bees and Flowers are interdependent .

A few years ago, we committed to sponsoring beehives with Beecity, our partner in northern France. Based in the Hauts de France region in northern France, they specialize in installing beehives in businesses and local authorities . They participate in specific projects for biodiversity. By sponsoring beehives, we contribute to the improvement of beehives and the improvement of local pollination .
